As far back as she can remember, Sari Schorr has been on the run. From the discovery of her smoke ‘n’ honey battle cry, through her baptism of fire in the Bronx blues clubs, onto backup vocals for giants like Joe Louis Walker and Popa Chubby - before finding her own voice with the solo career that exploded in 2016 - the award-winning New York singer-songwriter’s road-scuffed leather boots have barely touched the ground.

In an era of cookie-cutter pop stars, Schorr is a fascinating one-off. One moment, she’s the raven-haired warrior princess whose kerosene roar burns down the house. The next, she’s the heart-in-mouth balladeer who bleeds into every lyric and shatters even the hardest members of her crowd. Offstage, she’s a fierce social activist with a mischievous wit, an optimist, a dreamer and a dog-lover. All those sides of her, and more, are evident on Running Wild.

Recently, she's given voice to some of blues master Robin Trower’s finest contemporary songs on 2023’s Joyful Sky. But in 2026, Sari is back with Running Wild, the highly anticipated third album, and her first with Artone/Provogue, whose songs pulse with empowerment in dark times.
